Cimarron Valley: A Simulation-Based EAP Composition Curriculum

This article discusses the use of a thematically linked set of semester-long simulations in an English for academic purposes composition course. The authors describe the content of the simulations and discuss their effectiveness in addressing some of the key issues in English for academic purposes writing: accessibility of content, comprehension and internalization of source material, and intellectual engagement with the topic.
